This is great that you would start a site in this area of interest, as I know many people who could benefit from this sight who are new parents and wanting to start raising a family, and the best way to do that is know which products are going to be safe for the kids. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for your comment JP. They are always appreciated. Raising a family is a big job and everyone wants to get it right. I hope my site helps them in some small way.

There are so many bad things associated with chemicals that I do my best to avoid as many as I can. I don’t want to live forever but I want to stay healthy for as long as possible.

      Best wishes

I have a desire to protect my baby from harsh toxins and chemicals that are found in the food we eat and drink, so I have been on the hunt for products and solutions such as these, I’ll go to the site after this comment. I do have a question though, do you know of any natural remedies for children with respiratory issues? I’m asthmatic, so it would help me as well. Le me know, please!

      Hi Christian,

Thank you for leaving me a comment. There are a lot of chemicals in everything we eat and usethese days and I am glad you are trying to avoid them.

I don’t know if there are any alternative treatments for asthma but if there are I would definitely advise extreme caution before you use them. Alternative medicines are not put through the same rigorous resting that conventional medications and nor are they as closely monitored. Even with natural products there can be adverse reactions. Asthma is a very serious illness so you should always check with your doctor before using medication and I would recommend you take his advice on this one.

If you are eliminating most chemicals from your every day life then you re going a long way toward keeping your family safe.

      Best wishes

I have never heard of Naturally Home before. They sound like an interesting company. I think it’s great that even their packaging is 100% biodegradable. That benefit alone might make the products worth the extra few cents!

      Hi Blake.
I think the fact that they use 100% Biodegradable packaging is great and shows how serious they are about the environment.
We all need to think about what we can do to undo the damage that is being done to our planet. Even though it might seem like just a drop in the ocean it is still a step in the right direction. It really all comes down to the power of one and how that can snowball into a landslide movement that makes a difference to the future of our children.
Thanks for dropping in and leaving your comment and best wishes to you and your family.

    Hi Margaret –
A very timely post, for sure. Your review is well thought out and nicely addresses questions moms ask – I wish your site had been around when I was a mom of young ones!
I will be sending your link to a couple of newer moms who would get some good info from your site.
    All the best, Heather

      Hi Heather,

It is lovely to hear from you and thank you for sharing my article.

There were a lot less chemicals around when my babies were born, but since the second world war their use has increased alarmingly.

We could all do with a lfar less chemicals in our lives and one way to reduce our exposure to a lot of them is to use organic products.

My very best wishes to you and your family.

I have been a pharmacy technician for 10 years and I know what you mean when it comes to our children and grandchildren. Trying to protect them is very important especially with all the chemicals they are using today. I have always wanted to protect my babies from harsh toxins and chemicals that are found especially in the food we eat and drink, when I see all the things on the news about mold and nasty stuff in the bottom of some of the drinks make me really sick, so I hunt for products and ideas such as these, I do have a few question about some of the natural remedies for children with respiratory issues and babies you have allergies real bad? I have asthma really bad and I want to try and protect my babies and maybe help myself as well. If you have any suggestions please let me know

    Thank You Donna

      Hi Allen

Thanks for taking the time to contact me and I wish I could be more help to you.

There has been some publicity about how to treat allergies lately and I would recommend you speak to your doctor about it. This is more about food allergies however there are always new treatments coming out every day so keeping in touch with what is on offer through your doctor is a good idea.

Perhaps you could try talking to a Dietician and also a Pediatrician about the best way to handle respiratory issues. Unfortunately sometimes the only safe way to treat these thing is with medication. I would never advise anyone to give their child anything that they has not been sanctioned by a doctor. I know people such as Naturopaths and Herbalists sometimes claim to have remedies but I would be very reluctant to take that advice when it comes to your child.

If you do find a treatement that truly works I would love to hear about it.

Best wishes to you and your family

Hey, kids are the most precious to us and when we are always trying to give them best. But still, we are lacking in some way or the other. We are incapable of giving them pure things to eat in this toxic environment.

Thanks for introducing “naturallyhome” as it was not known to me. I am sure the site is going to be helpful for parents like me. 🙂

    Great work

Thanks for you comment it is great to hear from you. You are right of course it is hard to give them a really chemical free environment but I guess all we can do is cut as many chemicals out of our life as we can. We can do this by reading labels on everything we buy and trying to make sure as much as possible what we consume is organically grown and produced.

      All the best to you.
