Summing Up

This program has been designed by two professional women who claim to have tested the program on a number of willing pregnant ladies.   It  seems like a very sensible approach to maintaining health and fitness and eliminating some of the problems faced  during your pregnancy.

HOWEVER

You are carrying a precious new life and any program of exercise or diet should be discussed with your doctor before you commence.  As you know diet is important during your pregnancy and there are a number of food that should be avoided or completely eliminated from your diet at this time.

I was particularly impressed with the hypnosis during pregnancy.  I wish it had been around when my babies were born I would most certainly have looked into it.  The idea of delivering your baby into a stress free environment is very appealing to me.

I cannot stress strongly enough how important it is to always check with your health care professionals about anything you do during pregnancy.

Even though the program has been designed and written by two  professional women who are experts in their fields it is always advisable to check with your doctor  first.

I hope this review helps you and that you deliver a beautiful healthy baby.  I would love to hear any comments you may have about this program and this review.

Great article, Margaret! I’m hopefully done with having all my children. My youngest is 8. However, reading your article brought back memories. I definitely was not the bright and shining happy soon-to-be mother folks talk about. I think I had more of a “this baby is trying to kill me” look.

For my last child, I think having tips on keeping my joints and ligaments pain free would have been extremely beneficial. I’m not sure what his deal was, but he definitely wore my body out in a way my first two never did. It was unexpected, so I didn’t even prepare for it. Looking back, I wish I had. Sounds like a great program to deal with a lot of the pregnancy issues no one talks about.

      Hi Renee,
      Great to hear from you.
I know what you mean about your pregnancy. I felt the same way. My problem was that I was not healthy to start with. I was extremely iceman and felt awful for the entire time. Then to put the icing on the cake had a difficult birth and did not see my baby until he was 3 days old. My pregnancy was not planned and I was definitely not prepared for it.
We all recovered and I now have a wonderful son I am extremely proud of and adore and I am sure you feel the same way about your baby too. Nature is a wonderful thing isn’t it?
      Best wishes

This is an interesting article. If I ever have kids, my partner will have to deal with many of these topics. I think it is very crucial to keep pain as minimal as possible. I think it is smart of you to point this out. I like how you emphasize safety in everything also. Good article.

      Hi Lucas,
I would recommend your partner start following the program before she gets pregnant. I wrote and article some time ago about the pregnancy risks to overweight women that you and you your partner might like to read. It is better all round if you are fit and healthy to start with as there are a lot of benefits for both mother and baby.
Hope you will let me know when you do become a dad.

Love this website. I am sure that you will be a great help to many mothers to be who are searching for advice with their pregnancies.

The fit and healthy pregnancy program is something that I wish I had, but I resorted to buying pregnancy magazines when I was pregnant ten years ago.

It is good that you warned mothers to be to check with their doctors first, as everybody is different.

      Hi Michel,
It is great to get your comments. Pregnancy magazines are a good source of information for women as long as you make sure your check the advice is good before using it.
I would always suggest people see their doctor first. We are learning new things every day about what things are good and what are not.
When I was having my first baby I had morning sickness almost every day and the doctor asked me if I wanted something for it. I thank God I said no. My son was born at the same time as the Thalidomide babies were being born and I say a prayed of thanks every day that I said no. If I hadn’t he could have been one of the baby’s affected by this drug.
All the best to you and your family.

I’m so happy to have found this today. The couple next door (who are like children to us) are 13 weeks pregnant. They have some concerns about her health and of course she doesn’t want to gain any more than 30 pounds.

I looked at the program and it seems sound. I love that the program offers free email coaching. That to me would be worth the price itself. I’ll share it with her. Thanks for your great post …and website! It’s very sweet!

      Hi Jackie,

Thanks for sharing my post with your neighbor and I hope she is doing well and not too much morning sickness. Advise her t o talk to her doctor before starting on the program.

There are several articles she may be interested in on my site and I hope they help her and her partner make decisions on how they will care for their baby.

      Thanks and best wishes

      Margaret
